FORMING RING
FORMING RING: 3 JAW 5″

* These forming rings are to suit 3 jaw lathe chucks when mounting new soft jaws. These jaws will need machining to have repeat accuracy .
Steps to follow:
1. Set up jaws to the required diamer.
2. Adjust boring ring so the pins are are located in the holes of the new kjaws.
3. Lock up chuck so the boring ring is clamped up firmly.
4. Machine the jaws to the required diameter.
5. Remove the forming ring.
