traditional pattern woodworking vise equipped with a quick release mechanism.
A simple press of the trigger initiates the quick release action, allowing the front jaw to slide freely. This allows you to interchange small and large workpieces quickly and smoothly. Then, releasing the trigger returns the mechanism to normal for fine screw adjustments
These vises are equipped with an adjustable front dog which, when used in conjunction with a bench stop, allows you to securely hold workpieces that are too large to fit between the jaws. This capability effectively gives you a normal vise and a tail vise in one tool.
Vise jaws are equipped with a "toe-in" feature and when fully closed meet only at the top, providing even clamping.
