Pipe Cutters are used for the cutting of steel and cast iron pipes. (For Copper Brass and Aluminium pipe use a Tube Cutter) * For cutting steel they are fitted with fast cutting wheels of specially heat treated high grade steel which have been machined and profiled on a CNC lathe centre * This ensures that each wheel is precisely the right shape- thin for easier cutting yet extrememly stong * The high grade castings and accurately machined components allow for accurate wheel tracking * Every cutter is tested in the factory before dispatch. Steel mainscrews wheels and rollers combined with cast S.G. ductile iron bodies and slides make Record Pipe Cutters tough reliable and guaranteed against breakage
