* These sharpening stones should be lubricated prior to each use using a light machine oil * Heavy oils tend to load the surface and reduce the effectiveness of the stone * When sharpening move the tool you are sharpening in a wide figure 8 motion across the face of the stone * This action will give a consistant edge to the tool and prevent the tool from wearing unevenly * Should the stone become clogged or loaded then it should be cleaned with kerosine or a stiff fibre brush * Combination stone 180g and fine 320g *
